NOTES:
She and her husband were Friends (Quakers) of Scotch-Irish ethnicity who settled in southern Pennsylvania in the early eighteenth century. The family name was variently spelled Magrew and they seem to have immigrated around the 1720's, settling into the same locale (present Adams County) for several generations.
