After receiving my doctoral degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I spent two years at Michigan State University before arriving at Hanover College in 2003. I live on campus with my husband, Bill, and our two active boys. Owen was born in September 2004. We traveled to China to adopt Alexander in December 2008. We're quite smitten with them both and, increasingly, they with each other.
