NOTES: Information from The History of Perquimas County. The births of the first three children named are on record there; the other two sons are named (along with those three and Mary, the widow) in John's will, dated July 14, 1724. The first son (John) was apparently baptized at Berkeley Parish, from which I infer that the conversion to the friends was in one of these two generations.
