NOTES: So far I have only the LDS pedigree chart for information on this person, and it tells a strange story. It has him born in Virginia in 1592 (which should make him a famous person!), then getting married into one of the most powerful aristocratic families in England at about age 13, fathering the child that matters to us some 35 years later, and acquiring a knighthood along the way!
