Overview and Course Objectives

The psychology of personality is the scientific study of mental processes that contribute to individuality. In this course, we will conduct an overview of the topics of greatest concern to contemporary research on personality, such as the role of environment and heredity, biological contributions, and dimensions of personality. Your mission in this course is to obtain a broad knowledge base of personality concepts and findings and develop critical-thinking and research skills in the context of personality issues.
