I am married to Bill Altermatt, also an assistant professor of psychology at Hanover College. In our free time, we enjoy travel, hiking, and vegetarian cooking. We have two sons. Owen is 4. We'll be traveling to China in December 2008 to adopt Alexander, now 15 months.
